Fayetteville, North Carolina is mostly known as the home to Fort Bragg, one of the world’s largest military installations. In an effort to attract more visitors to Fayetteville as a destination, the Fayetteville Area Convention & Visitors Bureau needed a new name, brand identity, and advertising campaign. What Mythic discovered was a place with a very distinctive personality and experience to offer. This led us to the new name, DistiNCtly Fayetteville, and a logo that highlights the area’s location in the heart of North Carolina featuring a pop of color on the NC along with custom ligature and multiple typefaces that speak to Fayetteville’s diverse makeup. Our campaign, “Have You Done It ‘Yette?”, was born from the premise that if you haven’t done Fayetteville yet, you’re in for a random, wonderful mix of things to do, places to see and people you won’t forget.
