Designing a brand identity that’s far from commonplace.

Commonwealth is a soon to be realized mixed-use redevelopment in the eclectic neighborhood of Plaza Midwood in Charlotte. To create the mark, our design team drew inspiration from the property’s namesake, choosing a squirrel (common to the area) and a crown (for the Queen City) to epitomize the mix of individuality, artistic spirit, upscale establishments, and urban grit found in the neighborhood.
